Cannon used to be our easiest child to get to bed. We'd say - "here is your bottle... Say Good Night!" And he'd run off to his bed happy as ever to be going to sleep.
Not so much anymore. :(
I think he learned it was too much fun to have Mom and Dad all to himself while the other kids went to bed. So now we have the battle to fight! Its difficult to keep him in his bed, so we've resorted back to lying down with him until he falls asleep. He has a mind of his own and is quite stubborn, so its not easy to get him to do what we want. Where did my sweet little child go? Oh yeah, that's right! He turned 2!
Anyway, I digress... I was lying in his bed with him, waiting for him to burrow in and fall asleep. I don't know when he fell asleep, but I did pretty quickly! Doug had to come in and wake me up. I don't think I was asleep longer than 30 minutes, but I was sure comfy! I moved into our bed, but then wouldn't you know it! I couldn't sleep anymore!
So now here I've ruined an early night to bed by getting on the computer and playing around with the design of my blog. So much for extra rest tonight!

I know exactly what you mean! It takes an hour to get Elena to finally fall asleep and by then it is 11:00pm or later!
Spencer was always our night time buddy. He loved the one on one time with me (and Alex). He turned into this funny, sweet little boy after all the other kids were in bed. I hated to change that.
