How did this happen? I feel like I turned around and he has grown from a scratchy red faced infant into a giant cherub! He already weighs the same as his older brother. He is starting to act like Zane in the way he does crazy acrobatic stuff for attention. For his birthday, I have put together some things that I love and enjoy about Cannon.
I love hearing his giggle when I tickle him.
I love the way he babbles for 1 minute when we ask him a question (as if we can understand him). Then when we say "Oh really?" Zane says "Mom, what did he say?"
I love seeing him scoot around on anything with wheels.
I love the look of joy on his face when he is having a good time. Nothing beats those rosy cheeks, sparkly eyes and dimples! (Add a beard and he would be Santa!)
I love how he sings along to the radio when we are in the car.
I love how he brings me an empty bottle and a gallon of milk from the fridge and asks sweetly "Meelk?"
I love how he bows his head when we pray and tries to echo the prayer his brother or sister is saying.
I love how he throws his arms around my legs when I come in the door.
I love how he get so excited when he sees Doug after he comes home and cries "Daddy!" Its a perfect example from the song "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home."
I love how he sneaks out of his room at night when the other kids have fallen asleep. He stands outside the bedroom door and looks at us calmly as if saying "Don't pay any attention to me!"

And Happy again when he opened his new Tonka Truck. He stands in it, sits in it and pushes it around the floor like a madman. What a great toy!

He IS getting to be such a big boy. I love his babbling too! I love it when he's talking to me and he babbles for a bit and then I hear him say my name at the end. It cracks me up!!
