Coaching, Gospel Truths and Computers

Kyah is thankful for Thanksgiving and Atticus and Baxter.

I am thankful for the opportunity to coach. I have missed the fun, competition and excitement from playing team sports. These are some of the reasons I decided to start coaching volleyball. A few weeks into the season, my reasons for coaching changed. I realized I was coaching not as much for my sake, but for the sake of the girls and for the sake of the sports program. Its been an eye opening and awesome experience!

I am thankful for the gospel. I am watching the news and EVERY SINGLE TOPIC tonight is anti-God. The days are here that evil is made to seem good and good is made to seem evil. I am so grateful that we have the gospel to help us understand which is which! Of course, I am feeling slightly angry and not so Christlike about everything that I saw on the news just now. I guess I have a ways to go until I'm perfect! :)

My computer. It was even more important to me while I was living far away from most of my family because it was the main source of communication. Sad to say, but I spent much time on my computer, just waiting for a reply to an email from someone far away! I am not a phone talker... I have a hard time having a normal conversation on the phone. But communication is not the only thing I use it for... I love that I can save my life on something that doesn't have to be packed away in storage and it fits on my lap. Photos, journal entries, sports drills, practice plans, letters, goals, house plans, party invitations, graphic design for shirts I'll never make... I love it!

I was going to say that I liked the new look, but now it's even newer. Love it!
